Meet Dr. Matthew Worke
Matthew Worke, DDS
My path to becoming a dentist started in 2016 after a friend had mentioned the field of dentistry to me. I researched the career and had done some job shadowing at Main Street Dental Clinics while I was applying to dental school. I really enjoy the field of dentistry because it allows me to form great patient relationships while also being able to learn in the field of science and medicine, both of which I enjoy. I have always enjoyed doing activities with my hands, such as DIY projects and sports. Dentistry was the perfect fit for me to be able to use all three of those things: interpersonal relationships, science and hands on work.
I was born and raised in Blooming Prairie and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School in 2014. I continued my education at Winona State University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. I attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in May of 2022. My passion and drive for dentistry has allowed me to enjoy continuing to learn and grow as a dental provider to best serve our patients through continuing education courses and staying up to date with new technology and techniques. I am a member of the Minnesota Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my three legged dog, Emmitt. Him and I like to play ball together and go for walks around town. I like to go on hiking and camping adventures with my friends, traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and living a healthy lifestyle by being active. Other interests include, cooking/grilling, reading, DIY projects and fixing things, having a good laugh and I am beginning to dip my toe into golfing.
